A tumor the size of a golf ball was removed from leg on Monday. I am glad that it is out and now I have to wait for the test results. All through out this I decided to try and be as calm as possible - I did pretty well....until it was over - even when someone is putting on a brave face - they are scared! It is scary and I didn't want to admit it - I wanted to have that perfect front. There isn't anything fun about waiting and worrying - even if you try to ignore it - it's still there. This is when you need the people around you who love you the most. Lucky is the person who has that.

It's almost the end of summer and one of the signs is the final Uptown Friday Night.
It's been a ruff year with the flooding  - we were flooded out of our usual location but tonight after all of this time, we return to Green Square Park! Can I get a cheer!!! I will be there for the party :) This is also my last weekend before my kidlets go back to school. I won't be here for the beginning of the week next week because I am having surgery - I evidently have a tumor that needs to be removed. Yes, I am a wimp but I am feeling  positive that it is benign - so I will be back hopefully by Wednesday! Have a great weekend and have some last minute of summer fun!
